The Home Depot USA, Inc. has applied? to the City of Dover Zoning Board of Adjustment requesting variances from the maximum size for a free standing sign (100 square feet), Set back for a free Standing Sign (31 feet), and the Maximum size of a wall sign on a local road ( 32 square feet) Article 5 ? 4.7, sign table.? The applicants are proposing a total of seven (7) individual signs, two of which do not meet the requirements of the zoning ordinance.? Sign E a 417 square foot internally illuminated sign exceeds the maximum size for wall mounted signs fronting on a local collector.? Sign F is a 150 square foot 31.5 high Pylon sign located 16 feet from the right of way for US 13.? Subject property is 10.79 acres ? located at the north eastern corner of US13 (North Dupont Highway) and Leipsic Road, and known as 801 North DuPont Highway. The owner of record is The Home Depot USA, Inc.

The City of Dover Zoning Board of Adjustment will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday August 20, 2003 at 10:00 AM in the Council Chambers of City Hall to receive public testimony and consider this request.
