In February 2021, the State of Delaware, Dept. of Health and Social Services, Division of Public Health mandated the development of a cross connection control program in the Delaware Administrative Code 4662, Chapter 16, Section 21. This gives the public water system authority to enforce a cross-connection control program. Non-compliance with this regulation shall be subject to penalty as provided in 16 Del.C. Section 122(3)(c): up to $10,000 / day.
