SPECIAL MEETING
September 4th, 1935
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Woodford at 7;30 P. M. with the following members present: Messrs. Millman, Hinkle, Downes, LeFevre, Burton and Keith.
NEW COUNCILMAN
Mr. Harry Vane was appointed by the City Council to fill the vacancy made by Mr. Thomas F. Clarke having moved out of the fourth district. This appointment was made upon the following vote:
Messrs. Millman, yes;
“ Hinkle, yes;
“ Downes, yes;
“ LeFevre, yes;
“ Burton, yes;
“ Keith, yes;
NEW INDUSTRY
Upon motion of Messrs. LeFevre and Burton, Council decided that in-as-much as they were informed that it was not legal for the City to appropriate any moneys to private enterprises, all the conditions included in the motion of this special meeting held by the Council on July 30th, 1935, be recinded.
