VICE MAYOR

Upon motion of Messrs. Burton & LeFevre Mr. W. D. Clement was appointed Vice Mayor for the balance of term.

NEW TAX RATE

Upon motion of Messrs. Downes & LeFevre was presented but not accepted.

Upon motion of Messrs. Keith and Burton Council voted that tax rate for the year of 1929 be 85 and 10 making 95 cents per hundred.

TOWN ALDERMAN

Upon motion of Messrs. Burton and LeFevre Council appointed Mr. W. D. Burton as Town Alderman for the unexpired term of E. F. Wood.

ALDERMANS REPORT

Council decided to hold the Aldermans report over until the regular meeting in order that some adjustments be made.

ROBBINS HOSE INS. PREMIUM

Upon motion of Messrs. Downes and Burton Clerk was instructed to draw orders on the treasurer for the payment of the Robbins Hose Co Insurance premium.

TAX APPEAL

Upon motion of Messrs. LeFevre and Frear Council allowed the changes on the tax assessment list of Wm. M. Tomlinson Heirs from $6,125.00 to $4,500.00 and The East Coast Utilities Co. from $125,000.00 to $100,000.00.
