SPECIAL MEETING

January 5, 1927

The meeting was called to order 8:00 P.M. by President Woodford with the following members present: Messrs. Downes, LeFevre, Keith, Clements, Burton, Frear, and Hinkle. The purpose of this meeting was to receive the annual statement of the Town.

Council acting on motion of Messrs. Keith & Hinkle received the annual statement without an corrections, and to be published in one issue each of the State Sentential, and the State News, and that two hundred copies of this report be printed and distributed at the citizens meeting Friday evening January 7, 1927.

Possible change of Ordinance

Council acting on motion of Messrs. Keith & LeFevre directed the Ordinance Committee together with Mayor Woodford to take up with the City Solicitor the possibility of changing the Ordinance governing the Town Tax and the advisability as to the preparing of a bill to be presented to the present Legislature.

Council having concluded its business adjourned at 9:45 P.M.
