Dover, Delaware, - March 24, 1922.
A special meeting of Town Council was held at 7:30 P. M. and the following members were present: Messrs. Burton, Clark, Hopkins, Keith, Hancock and the President, Mr. Magee.
OBJECT: The object of the meeting was to make arrangements to take care of the overdraft in the Farmers Bank in the amount of $10,994.04.
The following resolution was then read:
“WHEREAS, the account of the Town of Dover with the Farmers’ Bank of the State of Delaware, at Dover, Delaware, is overdrawn in the sum of Ten Thousand Nine Hundred and Ninety-four Dollars and Four Cents ($10,994.04).
“NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Dover that the said Town of Dover acknowledges its indebtedness and promises to pay to the said The Farmers’ Bank of The State of Delaware, at Dover, the said sum of Ten Thousand Nine Hundred and Ninety-four Dollars and Four cents ($10,994.04), with interest at the rate of six per centum per annum on daily overdrafts until the said overdraft shall be wiped out.

Horsey, Clerk of the Town Council of the Town of Dover, DO HEREBY CERTIFY that the above and foregoing is a true and correct copy of a Resolution adopted at a special meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Dover, regularly called and held on the Twenty-Fourth day of March, A. D. March, A. D. 1922.

Upon motion of Mr. Hopkins, seconded by Mr. Clark the above Resolution was unanimously adopted and the Clerk authorized to certify same under seal of the Town.
Use of Town Roller: Upon motion of Messrs. Burton and Hopkins, Council voted to permit Mr. Jas. H. Hirons the use of the Town Roller on his contract on the road between Camden and Dover at such a price as may be entered into between the Street Committee and J. H. Hirons, under such an agreement prepared by the Solicitor, Mr. Satterfield.
Adjournment: Upon motion of Messrs. Keith and Hopkins, Council voted to adjourn.
