Participants will explore dramatic structure and then through discussion and improvisational theatre games will concentrate on the concept of conflict. Each participant will write an original dramatic or comedic character monologue based on a portrait chosen from the artist’s library of culturally, racially and age diverse pictures.
Nancy B. Lynch taught drama at Ursuline Academy for 15 years. She has directed for the Wilmington Drama League Chrysalis Players and the Delaware Theatre Company’s Young Playwrights Festival. She is President of the board of the Delaware Shakespeare Festival. She holds a B.A. in theatre from the Notre Dame-St. Mary’s College Cooperative Dept. of Speech and Drama.
