WORKSHOP

POWER SUPPLY - STONE & WEBSTER

Council met in a workshop session on October 30, 1990 to discuss future power supply issues, as presented by Stone & Webster. Those present were Mayor Richter, Mr. Salters, Mr. Pitts, Mr. Lynn, Mr. VanSant, Mr. Weyandt, Mr. Daisey, Mr. Levitt, Mr. Hall and Mr. Harbeson. Members of staff present were Mr. French, Mr. Blakeman, Mr. Karia, Mr. Cregar and Mrs. Boaman.

Representing Stone & Webster were Mr. Maury Masucci, Regional Manager; Dr. Ziad Husam, Project Manager; Mr. Jim Huston, Executive Vice President - Development Corporation; and Mr. Al Calafiore, Vice President - Management Consultants.

Mr. Masucci explained that the purpose of the meeting is to explore alternative demand side and supply side strategies for meeting our future power needs and to identify key decision points for various alternatives. Stone & Webster, at this point, is not recommending an action plan for the City of Dover, but rather is attempting to explain the various options available to the City.

Attached is a summary of topics covered during the Stone & Webster presentation. A tape recording of the entire workshop is on file in the Office of the City Clerk for anyone wishing to review the details of the presentation.
