SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING

September 10, 1981

A Special Meeting of Council was held on September 10, 1981 at 7:30 p.m. with Mayor McDonough presiding. Members present were Messrs. Bewick, Tudor, Boaman, Witt, Carson and Richter. Councilmen Carey and Hardcastle were absent.

The meeting was recessed into executive session to discuss personnel matters.

At 8:35 p.m. the meeting was moved back into public session, and Mayor McDonough recognized City Manager, John Mogan. Mr. Mogan tendered his resignation as City Manager of the City of Dover, effective October 2, 1981, with the understanding that he would remain on the City of Dover payroll for 90 days from that date to assist in the transition period.

Mr. Richter moved to accept Mr. Mogan’s resignation and the motion was seconded by Mr. Tudor. The motion was carried by a vote of five (5) yes and one (1) dissenting vote (Mr. Carson).

Meeting adjourned at 8:39 p.m. into executive session to discuss personnel matters.
