SPECIAL EMERGENCY MEETING

April 13, 1981

A Special Emergency Meeting of Council was called by Mayor McDonough following an executive session on April 13, 1981 to consider the tax rate for fiscal year 1981/82. Councilmen present were Messrs. Bewick, Boaman, Hardcastle, Carey, Witt and Richter.

Mayor McDonough declared the meeting open and requested Council’s pleasure on setting a tax rate for fiscal year 1981/82.

Mr. Hardcastle moved that the City of Dover tax rate for fiscal year 1981/82 be set at $1.00 per $100 of assessment, stipulating a line item budget by department. The line item budget will be based on the bottom line budget figure for each department. The motion was seconded by Mr. Witt.

By a roll call vote of five (5) yes, one (1) no (Mr. Carey) with Mr. Weyandt and Mr. Carson absent, the motion was approved.

Mr. Witt moved for adjournment of the Special Emergency Session of Council, seconded by Mr. Richter and unanimously carried.
