SPECIAL MEETING
August 31, 1970
A special meeting of City Council was held on Monday, August 31, 1969 at 7:00 P.M. with Mayor Carroll presiding. Members present were Messrs Biggs, Coyle, Hastings, Hayes, Holmes, Holpp, Legates and Walls.
ELECTRIC REVENUE BOND RESOLUTION
Th resolution to authorize the issuance of $12,070,000 Electric Revenue Bonds was presented to Council for their consideration at its regular meeting of August 24, 1970. Due to the fact that certain sections of the resolution were to be clarified by both the Bonding Attorney and the Construction Engineer, action on this resolution was deferred by Council. A report and revision of the section that needed to be clarified were received from the Bonding Attorney. Both Section 15 and 16 have been revised to the satisfaction of all parties concerned. On motion of Mr. Coyle, seconded by Mr. Hayes, Council by a roll call vote of 8 ‘yes’ and No descending votes, adopted the following resolution in connection with the $12,070,000 Electric Revenue Bonds (Series 1970).
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE OFFICIAL STATEMENT IN CONNECTION WITH $12,070,000 ELECTRIC REVENUE BONDS (SERIES 1970) OF THE CITY OF DOVER, DELAWARE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOVER, DELAWARE
1. The Official Statement, identified as proof of August 3, 1970, in connection with $12,070,000 Electric Revenue Bonds (Series 1970) of The City of Dover, Delaware is hereby approved, subject to such revisions, additions and corrections as may be approved by the Mayor of the City of Dover prior to the distribution of such Official Statement, his approval to be evidenced by his signing of the final form of such Official Statement simultaneously with the delivery of said $12, 070,000.
2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor.
