SPECIAL MEETING

                                                                                                                        October 20, 1947

A special meeting of City Council convened at 4:00 P.M. on October 20, 1947, with Mayor Woodford presiding. Members present were: Mrs. Frear, Messrs. Keith, Wright, Vane, and Burton.

The proposed contracts between the Delaware Power & Light Company and the City of Dover and between the International Latex Corporation and the City of Dover were discussed. No decision was reached.

Repairs to the present power plant were discussed. Upon motion of Mr. Wright, seconded by Mr. Keith, the City Manager was authorized to obtain the services of a Consulting Engineer for a survey of the present plant and recommendations for improvements.

The meeting adjourned at 5:00 P.M.
