SPECIAL MEETING

July 5, 1945

A Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Dover was held on Thursday, July 5, 1945, at 2:00 P.M. The following members were present: Messrs. Downes, Vane, Carson, Hartnett

The resignation of Joseph O. Willis, City Clerk, effective July 1, 1945, was read by the Mayor. A motion was made by Mr. Downes and seconded by Mr. Vane that the resignation be accepted with regrets.

RESOLUTION

A motion was made by Mr. Downes and seconded by Mr. Carson that Miss Ruth Scotton be elected Acting City Clerk, and that she be authorized to sign checks against the payroll account of the City of Dover, which motion was passed.

ADJOURNMENT

City Council adjourned at 2:15 P.M.
