SPECIAL MEETING

July 30^th, 1935

The meeting was called to order by Mayor Woodford at 7:30 P. M. with the following members present: Messrs. Millman, Keith, LeFevre, Downes, Burton, Frear and Clark.

NEW INDUSTRY

Upon motion of Messrs. Keith and Downes, the City Council voted to accept the proposition of the Norbud Hosiery Company to pay not in excess of $7,000.00 for the moving and installation of machinery expense, to furnish a site not to exceed $1250.00 and that all taxes be waived for ten years provided that building operations be started within thirty days. The total of this expenditure was not to exceed $8250.00, this sum to be appropriated to the Dover Chamber of Commerce.
