Dover is a city focused on improving public safety and growing economic prosperity for all our residents
     and businesses. Over the past five years, we have made tremendous progress in building a safer, more
     vibrant community.

     In recent days, Dover FOP Lodge #15 has pushed spurious allegations aimed at the Mayor and Police Chief.
     These meritless, baseless, and out-of-context claims are an affront to the real work being done every day
     to make Dover safer, more prosperous, and a place we can all proudly call home. 

     Ultimately, both the City and the Dover FOP Lodge #15 believe public safety is the highest priority, and distractions
     from that mission do not serve the public interest. That’s why the City is inviting the Executive Board of Dover
     FOP Lodge #15 to a public forum, where their concerns can be aired openly and transparently.

     Our commitment remains steadfast: to serve the residents of Dover with integrity, to continue building trust,
     and to move this city forward.
